SoftScript's proprietary Envision 3000 Dictation and Document Management System is a state-of-the-art derivative of the SoftScript family of custom servers, software, and hardware, and the result of generations of experience and service. This allows SoftScript to provide unique technology and services exclusively to our customers.
Envision 3000 is a very sophisticated and easy-to-use dictation and document management system.
Envision 3000 can be easily located within your facility and connected to your current internal phone and HIM systems. SoftScript can easily customize the system to your precise needs. The system can be configured to emulate your current flow of dictation and voice prompts creating a seamless transition for your medical staff.

Accurate & Easy to Use
The dictation process is extremely user friendly. The dictating physician will not have to adjust dictating habits. The big difference is in the underlying processing and system operation. As opposed to other dictation systems, Envision 3000 can provide 100% accuracy in patient demographic information because it verifies such information automatically while the dictating physician enters a patient identification number.
Envision 3000 will automatically embed the patient's and physician's information into the document.

Security
Traditionally, security concerns arise when patient identifiable information is sent outside the hospital during the transcription process. SoftScript's Envision 3000 effectively addresses this concern. At the customer's option, SoftScript can utilize and install a number of encryption protocols at your facility, including Virtual Private Networking and Secure Socket Layer.
Envision 3000 runs a Windows 2000 Server operating system that is in compliance with the US Department of Defense C2 standard. All files and file operations are protected by internal security of the NTFS file system.
Envision 3000 system configuration is compliant with HIPAA security regulations.

User Interface
The Envision 3000's very intuitive, self-explanatory and secure user interface is available to anyone on your internal network with appropriate access rights. There is no need for training. It is easy to add and modify users, monitor statistics, access document files, sign off on the reviewed documents, and even listen to the dictations right on your computer. Your operators or MIS department can easily add and remove users from the system, or SoftScript can do it for you remotely.

Document Routing & Delivery
The Envision 3000 Document Routing and Delivery system will automatically deliver transcribed reports to a variety of destinations such as your network or dedicated printers, fax, e-mail, any custom version of HL7, FTP, dialup, copied to a local or network folder, any type of custom interface, or any combination thereof. Reports can be filtered and routed based on any number of parameters including but not limited to physician IDs, work types, departments, and facilities or clinics in a multi-facility configuration.

Electronic Signature
The Envision 3000 electronic signature system enables users to approve medical documents using their legally binding electronic signatures. Security features bind the electronic signature to the original contents of the document, ensuring that the signature cannot be excised from the document and changes cannot be made to the document without invalidating the signature.

Bar Code
SoftScript's transcribed document can have any desired information (such as patient ID, patient name, etc.) presented in any barcode standard used by your existing system. The dictating physician can simply scan barcode on the chart during the dictation to guarantee accuracy of the patient demographic information.

Redundancy & Backup
The Envision 3000 system is fully backed up and redundant. SoftScript's servers have dual power supplies, mirrored hard drives, and uninterruptible power supplies. The voice and document files are backed up for an unlimited amount of time and can be retrieved as needed. All transaction and statistical data is stored in the SQL Server database and all files are stored on the hard drives with NTFS file system that maintains file consistency in the event of system failure.

Integrate with Your Current System
Envision 3000 is compliant with HL7 protocol (Health Level Seven, the Application Protocol for Electronic Data Exchange in Healthcare Environments).
