Quality control is an integral part of the SoftScript medical transcription service. SoftScript utilizes a number of system enhancements as well as supervisory reviews to ensure consistent quality of the output. System enhancements include:

• Use of electronic pharmaceutical reference
• Use of electronic spell checker and dictionaries to ensure correct terminology for all 15 of the published specialties

SoftScript requires and maintains the highest level of quality control

Testing Protocol

All medical transcriptionists recruited are required to successfully complete testing in the folllowing areas:

• Medical terminology
• Latest pharmaceutical, surgery, and instrument terminology
• Human Anatomy and Physiology

Customized Formatting

SoftScript works with each facility to develop an institution specific format for their reports.
